My FLP Longtube headers kit just was delivered today. It will be installed tomorrow morning. I'm unsure of what type of exhause system to put in so for now the FLP kit will go in with the stock mufflers. It's a start!
Ordered my FLP's today from SEAN at LAPD  . Im going to be running them through the stock Z06 mufflers and I can't wait to have them installed.
Steve - That's what I did too. Put the FLP's on last fall and still have the stock mufflers ... waiting on the LAPD GP for GHL's. You will love the performance boost and meaner sound ing exhaust even with the stock mufflers.

I've got FLPs and just put 4 tip stingers on last night. I had the older Borla 4 tip exhaust (not sure what its called, but its the equivolent of the Corsa Touring in terms of volume). It was ok with the FLPs but I wanted to let people know I was coming so I got the Stingers.
Right now, I'm very concerned about the level of resonance I'm getting and the amount of burbling on decel. I plan on a 2 hour trip this weekend to really see how bad it is or if it settles in. For what its worth, I have 4.10s so they get very loud very quick.
The GP on GHLs is continually postponed, but if I were you I would put your name on the list and wait for the price to come down. They sound very similar to the stingers but the resonance should not be a factor.
oh, and cutouts are tabs that are opened before getting to your mufflers/cats, etc. Guys with big cubes get more HP by opening up the cutouts...it sounds incredible fully open. I heard them open on an MTI 427 (Z07)...its the most impressive thing I've ever heard.
I just purchased a pair of QTEC cutouts and plan to have them installed when I take my roadtrip (from Washington, DC) to FLP outside of Chicago next week. Getting a Stage IV, headers & high-stall TQ put in...can't wait! :D
Congrats on the FLP's. After much research and gabbing with others I too am going with the FLP's. I am matching them up with the GHL's based on sound and performance. I am going with the 4" tips also.
Good luck to ya and let us know what you get. BTW, I am getting all of my equipment throught Shawn at LAPD. He has gr8 service and seems to be the go to guy for the GHL's.
BUM
