I am looking install poly bushings in my 00 FRC. What bushings are recommended Vette Brakes and Products? I understand that some come with sleeves and others without.
Just for my own education, why are you wanting to change from stock to poly? I know that poly deflects much less, but also know that F-bodies (I know, they're different) have had problems with the suspension binding up when the suspension was too stiff.
Are you going to replace everything, or selected pieces?
I am planning on the A-arms front and rear as the major pieces. Bind is less of a problem with the independant suspension front and rear. Less deflection keeps the suspension geometry closer to correct and reduces wheel hop.
I had an F-body and would not recommend poly on both ends of the LCAs. I would have poly on one end and Global West Del a Lums on the other. But that is another topic.
Poly bushings eliminate noise? Every car I have ever installed poly bushings in creak and moan and the vette is no different. The handling difference was worth the effort, however it does get a bit tiring listening to the creaks while going over speed bumps, driveways, etc.
