Whats wrong with my AC ???
This past weekend driving back from MA I could not change the setting on my AC. No matter how much I turned the **** it would just display 74 if I turned it up it went to 75. I tried all variations, auto, manual, recirc. fresh etc.
Yesterday when I started her up everything seemed to be working fine I was able to set the AC down to 62 and it went up as well. Later that same day it was stuck again at 72.
By the way I have the dual climate control
This is driving me nuts what could be wrong ???

If your unit is not responding to any changes in temp setting, etc., then it sounds like the head unit itself is bad. Sounds like the unit gets hung in a certain state.

This is really driving me :crazy:
I am able to adjust the temp by 1 degree after it stops displaying the internal temp and switches to external, I can get to the desired temp by repeating this process. All other functions seem ok.
Anyone have any other ideas?
If it is the head unit how much will this be?

Had smiliar problem.
Head unit.
Check with GM tech, there is a better unit perhaps superseeded accross the years.
Cost, I think $400. Easy to install yourself...maybe 1.5 hours or less.
