Thanks for advice on crossover pipe. I have noticed reference to noise on decceleration in a number of forum posts. My car is a 97 and doesn't seem to suffer from this problem. Measured the noise today - only 94db(A) at full throttle - getting used to it now!

Mine did almost nothing for the "burble" under decel...

That's hard for me to say. I did the H pipe modification when I added the XR-1 so I don't know how it would have sounded without it. Also I have a vert which from what I have seen has less resonance due to the trunk and soft top. I have a little resonance at around 2000 RPM but not much and certainly not enough that I would consider it annoying. I need to find someone with a similar car (vert & XR-1) and do a comparison. :yesnod:

I just remember that back in 97-98 a lot of people were doing H pipes in front of the cats with a claim of a small HP boost and lower resonance.
