I have a few codes showing up on when i do a manual computer code check, how do i reset them without using a tech 2 ??? i have a 2000 vette 6 spd and had a a/c leak that soaked my bcm. thanks for the info, this site is great!!!!

1. Turn key on but don't start car.
2. Pull PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment.
3. Wait a few minutes.
4. Turn ignition off.
5. Replace fuses.
It will take the car a while to relearn the fuel and timing curves so don't worry about a temporary performance loss.
It's very simple, after your car goes thru all of the computers and codes it goes into "manual diagnostics" once there you will see for example
"PCM - 1 code" once that comes up just push and hold the "reset" button and you can watch it go to "PCM - 0 codes" :cheers:
What is the difference between disconnecting the battery and pulling those fuses?? Are those fuses by the bcm? I have tried to reset the codes from the ipc but they are still there, does that me there current codes even if the show history codes?
