Help with two PCM codes...please!!
Hello I have new check engine light after doing a few mods last night and was hoping someone could tell me what the codes mean.
Both are in the PMC
420 HC
430 HC
Hope someone can help me out with this.

P0420 TWC System Low Efficiency Bank 1-A

problem with your catalytic convertors. may be time for new cats. you running stock cats on the car? i'd first just try to clear/reset the codes. if they come back after 5-6 resets, then i'd actually take a look at the cats. good luck, and keep us posted on what you find.

Okay do you think this could be because I didnt install the cats when I did the main mod...lol. One was FLP headers and X-pipe. I chose not to run with the cats. Guess maybe I need to install them.
I heard I can use O2 sims and it will eliminate my issue...What would you do??

If you didn't install the CATs and went with the FLP off road pipes you MUST install O2 SIMS to conteract the missing CATs. Other option is install the CATs as you mention. I'm running the FLPs with CATs and O2 sensors without any problems.

but since you did ask ... i'd probably run open headers just to scare old ladies and make small children cry when accelerating from every stop.
in your case, i'd add o2 sims to get rid of the codes and not bother with any cats.
