Head & Cam selection
My 2002 Z06 is fast but im not scared of it, the power is very linear and smooth which is nice, but I want more. Ive been checking out the cartek site and their stage 2 and 2x heads with cam make around 470 rwhp and running high 10's. I really want the torque, neck snap feel. Should I go with more conservative stage 2 or step up to stage 3. Is stage 3 shady in street driving. The 427's dont make much more it seems like. Will these head and cams support future applications like a 5-7psi supercharger. Any help is grately appreciated.

I don't think you can get stage III heads for just a h/c car, they are for bored/strokers, (unless you were suggesting doing a 427) They come with larger bowls for the bigger pistons. It's best to do h/c first and add s/c, turbo, etc., later if you still want it. Maybe you just need to put in a 3:73 or 4:10 rearend gear to snap that head back??!!
