Does anyone use devices like Gtech or Gtimer to measure HP figures? I haven't started moding my car but I have a GTimer GT2 on order, waiting for there software package to be ready. Wouldn't this be a good way to guage mods?

after I got my H/C done I did the SuperChips route...the a/f ratio was not close to where it should have been. I sent if back for reprogramming and they tweeked the a/f a tad but was still way off.
My HP gain was -4 hp. I returned the program and did get a refund.
If they are seeing a 32 hp gain on a LS1 it's in a bone stock truck and not a C5.

I highly doubt you'll see that much.
Most custom tunging jobs will only net maybe 10hp on stockish cas.
Now supercharged cars or heads/cam you could see more.

Don't get the Predator, just a heads up. Two of my friends and I did. This is what we got; 03 Z06 18hp and 15 ftlbs gain
99 h'top 5hp and 4 ftlbs gain
00 vert 6 hp and 4 ftlbs LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!
We monitored A/F, made changes and still got basically the same nubers, don't waste your money. We're all taking them back! :mad :mad

I keep my vette clean, so I can't help you there - but I can feel at least a 25rwhp SOTP difference every time I wash and wax as well as change the oil in my 4x4------Does that help y'all.
