I was wondering if any of you guys were using the O2 simulators. I want to hollow out my cats and was wondering if the sims really kept the computer from throwing codes. Also wanted to know if there is a difference felt in performance and how it sounds with the cats hollowed. Any info would help. Thanks! :thumbs:
I'ven been running O2 simms for 2 years with zero problems (and no codes).
As for performance goes, gutting the cats won't net you anything (on a stock cubed motor). I know a few will probably post saying that they got as much as 10 rwhp/rwtq but never produce dyno graphs to back it. :nono:

Forgot to mention, as you can see i actually lost HP/TQ between 3500 and 4500 RPM's, and this is with and MTI Off-Road X-Pipe in place of the cats (ie directly mounted to the collectors on the long tube headers). :eek:
