Engine Noise
Hey guys! Im a newbie here...I traded in my 02 Saleen for a 03 Yellow Coupe. I have started to here a noise from my engine that sounds kinda like a metalic sound, like a belt rubbing or something. Most noticable around 1500 rpms w/ windows down, or driving next to another vehicle. Its not real loud, but in the backround. I took my car to the dealership twice now, and they put the updated Tensioner, Pulley, belt, and Alternator on their the first time, but the noise was still there. On the second time the service manager took it for a ride since it was back there twice for the same problem. He checked everything and said that everything was cool, and that there was some noise from the tensioner, but it was applying pressure to the belt, and that there is nothing wrong with the engine...does anyone else have this problem? :banghead:

If you are able to get to Tom Jumper Chev in Atlanta ,GA there are very good they did my re-ring on my 01 ZO6. They have one of the top mechanics there Dave Futcher >>> I think that is the way his name is spelled>> hope this helps.
