My buddy sold his 00' WS6 Trans Am.. but still has his TNT Nitrous kit... We were wondering if it would work in my car?

What shot is safe on a bone stock motor?

It should work fine. If it is the TNT nitrous ring kit, the ring fits onto the throttle body which the Fbody and C5 have the same diameter. You can use the same gas pedal activated micro switch that comes in the kit, or you can upgrade and get the electronic TPS switch (I use the micro switch and it works great). Be sure to use an MSD Window switch no matter what you do. Does not normally come with any basic nitrous kits, so, shop Ebay for one or just buy brand new from any number of vendors (i found Summitracing the cheapest for this unit and the needed rpm modules). The only thing that i see being a problem is if the previous owner cut his nitrous line to length for his car when he installed it. Kits usually come with a standard 15ft length of 4AN braided line that goes from bottle to the front of car where you will mount your nitrous noid. This is always too long so some people have it cut and new connector installed for a cleaner install. This would possibly leave you short, but an easy enough problem to fix. If you get the kit and find you need anything, drop me a line. I have a ton of extra 'this and that' items that could help you out in a tough jam(-AN connectors, filters, bottle brackets, bottle heater blankets, switches, relays, nitrous jets of various sizes, shark nozzles, nitrous line: 3AN, 4AN, 6AN, 8AN., etc).
