Re: Stroker question 4.250 crank (fast 98 C5)
NOt quite but close. I have the same year 98 A4 C5 Roadster as you and opted for a little bit more bore (4.060) and slight less stroke (4.125) for 427 beautiful cubes on a 6 liter ironblock also. See my sig. for dyno numbers which you should be close to if your using the best flowing LS6 heads that $ can buy and aggressive cam like my MTI S1 cam with specs. of 244/244, .612 lift on a 112 lsa.
Who is building your motor? Best of luck!
Thank's for the reply. Speed Demon built the motor and my short block is done. Funny I have the same cam in it now that you have. I also have that cam in my current Speed Demon 408. I was just wondering how the extra stroke might effect HP andTQ and really ET. I'm at 11.11's now in Texas Heat and am hoping for a reliable consitant 10sec. daily driver.
so you are The One with the 4.25 crank hmmm :D
should be a stump puller. Odd combo, but should be great on the street.
I would go witha solid roller IMO.
Do you think you can update us on how it runs after say 500-1000 miles. I am curious to see if it has any oil consumption issues with that combo.
thanks
