I doubt they'll fit on 10.5 inch y2k's. Furthermore, I think Y2K's are 9.5"...Z06's are 10.5" in rear. You'd need larger rims, and also a minitub kit. LPE commonly does this.
they make a 10.5 thin spoke(i think that is the y2k, not sure though) anyway that is the rim i want and i know that bfg recommends a 12-14 rim for these tires but i know people runing 315's on 9.5 rims with no problems, but i would like to know if anyone has done this. my biggest concern is rubbing. don't want to cut my car. :chevy
i know i've heard of some of you guys running 335's but what size rims are they on, will they work on z06 size rims,or is that extra 10mm(from 335 to 345)too much :chevy
i was going to post in the tire and wheel section but it doesn't look like they get many post over there
They won't fit. 335's wouldn't fit either. 20mm wider than stock is about the limit of what you'd want, though that is a loose rule. You're asking for 70mm over, which would be an insanely impossible fit. Even if they did somehow get on, they wouldn't perform on par with a properly mounted 345. You're asking to put a tire on a rim that is nearly 3 inches wider than the rim. :nonod:
You can have wheels widened if you really want to keep the stock style. then the 345's would work fine. Look to pay $250-$500 extra per rim.
