SDRE Vette (my ex Vette) does run like hell !!!!
Guys, I´m a full idiot!!!!
I sold my Vette as I don´t have the money to keep it as a race Vette (you know the history) and have a fast street car, too.
And now this car has run 10,6 on street tires with only a 100 shot !!!
More nitrous is not possible without a stand allone nitrous system.
The car impressed the owner on the Corvette Euro Meet last weekend when it run 11,6 NA on streettires, on 100+° weather and with the luggage of two persons in the rear.
The new owner had the tires spin the first gear long, as it was his first try.
However, this car really has the potential to run 8´s.
I now think about having Shirl building me a C5 race only car with a TH 400 conversion and a 300hp direct port on top of his race engine.
I just need to save some $ as fast as possible.
I need to run a vette at the tracks, soon again.

The title to this thread really grabs ya since it could have a double meaning. Glad to hear the car is running so well. I know it would do much better if you were driving. It ran a 129 mph quartermile (N/A) before you sold it...
As you know, I've been rebuilding damaged C5's and when you're ready we can build a complete race car that will be very light and very reasonable on cost... We can also build another '422 from Hell' that will put the car in the 8's for sure... Let me know when you're ready and I'll locate the car for the job and build you an even better and faster Vette than the one you had to sell... :cool:

You know I think in German and there is a car that drives like Hell only POSITIVE !!!
I´m pretty sure yet, you´ll need to build me a race only C5 next year !!
We need to dicuss that soon, as I wann make a budget for that.
