Kelley Performance Center FL Package Results??
I was just curious with the advertising lately how any of the Kelley heads/cam or cam cars are doing RWHP & RWT wise. I heard it is a clean shop and good tech(s) with experience so this is not part of the question. Not really interested in basic cars, but more in the line of complete bolt-on C5's with heads/cam, cam only and engine packages. How manyof these cars have come out of the shop so far and dyno graphs w/ A/F? What cam, heads and bolt-ons were used? How many cars has Brian tuned with LS1 Edit? Does he own the unlimited LS1 Edit or buy a single setup for each car? Just trying to see how things are progressing since there has been a lot of posts lately.

I just got car back from them last weekend and planned on writing a post when I had some pictures to post. As of yet I dont have the pic's on the web so I did not make the post yet. I did not do heads and cam yet because the car was bone stock. I wanted to get full intake, full exhaust, 3:42 gears and tuning first. I have nothing but great things to say about Brian and my whole Kelley Chevrolet experience and plan on making my post when I have some cool pic's to post with it. But back to my results,,, the car has an A4, 48000 miles and started with 273hp and left with 319hp. The car would not even spin the tires before and now has traction problems under 40mph :D .
I plan in the next month or two to have a heads and cam package added. I will also tell you this,, when I do, Brian and Kelley Chevrolet WILL get the business!!!

Good story and glad you are happy with the work so far. I am more looking for internal engine and tuning results to see what kind of experience they have and the results and customers to back it up. I had not heard of Brian nor Kelley Chevy before, though Angel has been around for some time, and just trying to see what background they are working with as a team before any decisions are made. Please don't take this the wrong way as it is for information gathering only. Surely there has to be quite a few internal engine upgraded cars out there that they installed and tuned for them to be advertising doing them. Look forward to hearing about those particular experiences.

We have scheduled a forum members car to go under the knife, errrrrr I mean wrench tomorrow and should be ready in several days. I am sure he will post some numbers and pictures!!
Angel is one of the best C5 techs in the South Florida area and is very well known. Being that we have the abilities of a top notch technician, a brand new Dynojet 248 with wide band 02, LS1 Edit tuning capability and the resources of a complete Chevrolet dealership, I think you will be very happy and well taken care of.

That would be cool, but I am also looking for the other cars he has done he mentioned to get a broader idea on what he has done. I also read you had some detonation issues in another thread. Did that get taken care of and if so what ended up being the problem?

The car is going back to Kelley Performance today to hopefully get these issues resolved. Brian suspects that my motor is in need of a full decarb to eliminate any carbon that may be causing hot spots on the piston. My FLP cats are also being taken off today to see if the staright pipes will eliminate the problem. I will report back the results later today.
