THe Electronic Control Module (ECM) that controls the ignition timing, and Fuel injection system of the Engine
The PCM handles that function in the Corvette. It interfaces with many of the other computers on the C5, Automatic/Manual Transmissions, HVAC, Cruise Control, Theft Deterrent, Anti-Lock Brakes, turns on/off the generator, etc. I would guess that the cars are different enough that the ECMs/PCMs are not compatible. Your Chevy dealer should be able to give you a definitive answer.
Same phsical PCM, different software calibration. It would have to be flashed with correct calibration to be functional. I tried to start a C5 with the f-body PCM and the drive by wire throttle control would not function.
