I hate to keep bringing this up but some people think a $48,000 car leaking oil at 4000 miles is OK.
Mine leaks a couple of drops on the garage floor after driving 40 miles or so. It's not those drops I'm worried about, it's all the oil that's on the back of the car. It is leaking while you are driving it. After it's in the garage it stops leaking. I think one person on this site was losing 4 oz in 900 miles. This is not an insignificant problem!
You really have 3 choices here. Let them buy the car back {maybe}, Repair the leak. Let it leak. I was mad as hell about my car leaking but the simple fact is there is a cure and it is not hard to accomplish. There is a warranty on your car and it does not state that some problems can occur over several model years. If the problem turns out to be unfixable then we have a gripe, but if the defect is repairable then we have to abide by the waranty agreement. :chevy
