This may or may not be "news", however I'll pass it on anyway. The current issue of Popular Hot Rodding magazine has an article on a new intake manifold being developed by FAST (fuel, air, spark, technology) division of COMP products.
The manifold is being developed by several companies and their respective engineers, and will be molded in a composite material. What should be of interest to many is the inclusion of N20 provisions right from the start.

Re: FAST intake manifold (extremecorvette)
We will have them in stock on Day one of their release. We already put a blanket order in.
I will have pricing and availability within one week. They are to be officially released in late Sept, early Oct. Should be worth 15+ hp over an LS6 manifold.
That means that our solid roller stock cube engine might hit 500rwhp NA and our big cube engine will benefit even more.

I'm glad I held off on buying the LS6 intake. Any speculation to the benefits to an internally stock LS1? Its obvious the strokers, big cubes and heads and cam cars will eat this up...but I'm wondering what it will do on a stock car.
I am extremely interested in having one as well as any test data you run, pricing etc, i would love to know what it may do for my 436ci or any stroker,
