Recommendation needed for White Faced Gauges...

Hi fellas...

I'm wondering how long it takes to install these and if I should attempt it myself... The reason I ask is because Xtreme wants 5 hours labor. Is that right???

Also, who makes the best quality???

Don't have much experience with C5 gauge install but in other cars it can get pretty tedious. I would expect a vette is as bad or worse. Up to you whether you want to take the time. I would do it myself to save money for something to go faster.

If you buy them at less than $100, they're likely junk. I had a cheap set, will sell for $25 if you want them (paid $35 or so on eBay), but not worth it IMO. While you're in there, paint the surrounds like this...to match body color, and then silver highlight... All in all, you're looking at a minimum of 3-5 hours...
