:iagree: I think as long as you stay with a "good major brand" of synthetic ATF you will have improoved shifting. Some people swear "Redline" others Amsoil or Mobil1.
I changed 6 months ago to Mobil1 and do feel smoother shifting. No more hazzle getting into first gear after stoping the car in neutral.

You will need a 3/8 square socket and a jack. The tranny has a fill and a drain plug, so make sure the fill plug will loosen before you drain the fluid and find out you can't get the new in. You'll also need a pump of some type to get the new fluid into the fill opening. I'm sorry I don't have pictures but once you get the car up in the air there is an orange sticker on the tranny that says " use dexron only" or similiar words.
