They're probably still writing them. :yesnod: I bought the manuals for my '02 around October, '01 and didn't receive them until January, '02.
That's an indicator of when the '04's should be out.
Anyway, Fichtner is a good place to order the official GM manual set.

It will be a long time before you get any manuals. The Dealers get them first so you are probably looking after the first of next year. Don't rely on Helm to notify you when they are available either.

GM has gone electronic with their service information. The Dealers have online access and information for all cars released for shipment to the Dealers is available to them via the Electronic Service Information website. This also allows the online information to be updated almost instantly to the Dealers, so if a procedure changes, or a new procedure is added, the website can be updated.
Usually, after the vehicle is released for sale, GM starts printing the actual paper manuals. However, this can take a few months to get them printed, bound, and shipped to Helm (or any other place they might use for distribution). Then they can be sold to the general public via the distributor, usually Helm, or via a Dealer.

Lots of luck...we didn't get the '03s until March of 2003. :smash:
