Intake Sytems
First timer and fisrt time ever new 2003 C5 owner. Greetings everyone! :flag I have been reading the forum for the past 2 months and I am really amazed on everyones technical expertise! Need some advise on intake systems and what to buy and if this is the right place to start for the first modifications on my new vette. Thanks!!!

I would buy a
1. Vararam 400
2. polish the TB ( you can do this your self look up old post) free
3. buy the new intake coming out by Vararam or Fast 700
4. buy headers used LT 600
5. buy exhaust new borla stingers on sale 450
next
6. H/C used 2000
7. under drive pullys 200
8. plugs and wires 150

Depends on what your main goal is going to be.
So many choices, and So many good products (and not so good).
Vararam is great, You have alot of rain, standing water? Then go Blackwing. Less chance of ingestion.
Vararam has a foam filter, sucks more dirt through because of the flow. Suggestion, get a paper filter for street, foam for track.
Exhaust primarily for sound and a little oomph. TONS of choices here, Borla, GHL, Corsa, B&B ,just to start. Then look at LT headers and Xpipe, cats. etc....
Then go high dollar as suggested above.
If you want "immediate" speed. Go gear swap, TC if auto.
