purchasing a 1998 pace car wheat should I know???
I am looking at a 1998 Pacecar with 4k actual miles on it. How much should I be paying? It is an automatic. What goodies did these cars come with?
What should I look for etc.

I believe all the Pace Cars were equipped the same , auto or 6 speed , all options except the cd changer and no upgraded suspension? I wish mine was worth more but probably mid 30's with that low mileage. :cry

Did the 98 come with a HUD or did you add that if added how much and where did you get it from?
Where did you mount the CD changer? I have a JVC 12 changer I can add into the car. Was it hard to get access to the back of the factory radio?

I added the HUD unit for a winter project. If You have the funds I would say that the car "PACE THIS" has for sale is the nicest example You could ever hope for. Plus he has done all the mods such as HUD , great looking wheels, incredible interior , heck I wish I could have mine looking so good. :eek:

Ya I looked at it but it is a bit higher than I wanted to spend. I am getting one with 4700 miles on it. I thnk that is pretty good deal.

It is a very nice car but I plan on keeping mine stock. I dont want to mod it right away. I do enough moding on my AV.
