SLP X-pipe/resonator
Anyway, I got mine put on last weekend, and I have to say, I'm a little too impressed with the "resonator" part of it. I had the SLP Loudmouths originally, but it sounded a little too much like a motorboat. So I went and had the local exaust shop install a pair of short glass packs side by side after the O2s, which gave me the exact sound I was looking for, but it rattled like crazy. There really wasn't too much I could do about it because it was a little too wide, and just no enough clearance. Well, I finally got fed up and got the SLP x-pipe/resonator thing and had it put on last weekend. Man, what a huge difference. My car basically sounds stock on the inside with a little rumble when you get on it, but nothing like it used to be.
So when I'm letting the engine idle and standing behind it, it still grumbles pretty loud, almost as loud as before, it's just I can't tell from the inside. I guess that's a plus, but I think I'm starting to miss my beast already. Oh well, at least it still sounds good when you open her up, and a lot better than the rattles :bb
See ya around, cause you probably won't hear me :jester
