"Service Tire Management System" Error Message

"Service Tire Management System" Error Message
This message appeared yesterday at my clubs Track Day at Pocono Speedway. What happened was the nut that holds the valve stem and sensoe came loose in my hand after I had a flat in the garage area. Does this mean I damaged the sensor? Is there a unique part number for the drivers side rear sensor?

Probably, no unique part number but after the sensor is replaced you'll have to do the relearn procedure with a magnet. :cheers:

Is there a proceedure listed anywhere that you know of within the forum? My next question was going to be how does the system know the new sensor is in the left rear...

all four sensors are the same. the part # depends on what year your vette is.
the sensor may be ok. i would try to reprogram it first. if that fails then you might need to replace it.

just position it around the valve stem close to the wheel. be careful and don't bump your wheel. you just slightly move the magnet around until the horn beeps.

do all four. the procedure starts with the left front (LF). you didn't mention which wheel it was so start with the LF and follow the steps.
