Another newbie question... I have a 2000 coupe that came with standard seats. Passenger seat is not power. Drivers seat is. Standard package I guess. Now what I did was CHANGE these out to the Sport seats which have the power accessories. Since I do not have the memory package to start with, would the memory upgrade from Mid America work with these seats and all the rest of the memory options like mirror radio etc. I realize I have to wire the passenger seat to power since there is no wiring provided with the car. What have I gotten myself into!!!??? :banghead: Appreciate anyone advise ou there!!! :seeya
I think I read somewhere that even if you get everything hooked up, the PCM still would have to be re-programed to turn on this feature. But I am not 100% sure about that. Good luck.
I sure wish Mid America would change the wording on the switch parts. To me it is not confusing, but this is the third reference to these switches this week.
"Thanks for the reply! I probably got myself into a real jam!"
I don't think so! The dealer should be able to turn it on if you can help him find the location. Some times there hidden deep, several layers down in the program.
I'm sure one of the techs here could tell you exactly how to do it!
Best to stay with OEM parts.
Best of luck to ya,
Tim
