Took the car to dealer this A.M. to fix "Check Engine" light problem. Naturally, on the way to the dealer, the damn Check Engine light goes out. The tech runs a DIC scan and gets same codes as I reported above. Then he hooks up the scan tool and finds O2 sensors, AIR pump, air pump check valves, and all the other stuff OK...all normal readings--WTF?? Told me w/ a P1415 code, they have found in the past, the AIR pump relay assy's.(it appears there are 2 of them) have been prone to intermittent sticking. He changed both relays, ran another scan tool check (all was OK), then, sent me on my way. Fortunately, my GMPP paid 100% for work.
And yes, I do have a Window Valet--- I'm sure that is probably the reason for the U1064 codes, but, I forgot to ask the tech...
Hopefully, that will take care of the problem. Just want to share this info, for, as we all know, there are all kinds of reasons for the check engine light. :yesnod: Bob
