Default Predator settings

About to install up a predator, Any good setting to start with?
Info: 99 auto, 2.73 rear gear , blackwing and X pipe, stock mufflers
and installed 160' t stat

Since youre auto, you can change shift points which is a Predator feature that works well with A4 cars. You can also install the Predator basic tune and change the fan settings. Other than that, you gotta use a dyno to change other parameters.

Hi! Welcome to the Forum. I would agree, as above. Install the Predator program and drive it a little to get a feel for it. Then change shift points slowly until they seem good to you. I just did the +/- 25% bit on shifts and really can't tell much difference. Generally feels better with the Predator though. :)

Here's what I set up for a fun drive:

1-2 shift pressure: +25%
2-3 shift pressure: +15%
3-4 shift pressure: no change

1-2 shift quickness: -25%
2-3 shift quickness: -25%
3-4 shift quickness: -15%

timing: +7%
