I’ve got oval quads and love ‘em.

I saw a post where a member went from duals to quads(sponsored) and said the quads weren’t as loud. But the mufflers were brand new too.

As for performance – it’s got to be insignificant and probably wouldn’t show up on a dyno.
:iagree: I was told by a reputable Performance Shop that the Quads are not as loud but the power gain is about the same.

I love my Quads.

  that's almost a low blow :D
But OVAL quads rule.......ain't no ricers running these either
I was just trying to show that there are quite a few newer model Japanese sports cars out there with dual cannons. This is one of the reasons why I chose the quad cannons. The other reason is that the quads fill in that open slot very nicely. Certainly, the dual cannons are more traditional and I appreciate that as well.

Hey, everyone has his or her druthers!

Ya only got 2 pipes, so why have 4 tips? Obviously can't be any performance difference. Just about the look. I'll stick with the 2 tips for the clean and mean look!

That's kinda like replacing the stock taillight lenses with smaller versions, leaving a sizable gap around the periphery of the lenses - to most designers, this is a big no no. Still, if you like the look, go for it!

Don't get the taillight analogy, but I think the look of the 2 tips is best with a nice exhaust plate to fill the gap in between. Again, not knocking the 4 tips --
I just think the 2 tips look like they mean business.

Just having a little fun with your post.

The reason I went with the Borla oval quads was because it kept the Corvette oval quad theme and seemed to do the stock tips one better. The Borla oval quads are like the stock tips on steroids.

I also like round quads and the duals too.:thumbs
