Ok.....
I pulled the connector for the right(passenger) wheel and it threw a 1233 code. So the wheel sensor must not be initalizing or something. I checked:
1) the connector at the wheel
2) the connector at the frame by the wheel
3) traced some of the wiring
What else can I do to diagnose the problem? Any other connectors to look for?

OK I was just faxed a sheet from the local GM dealer on the problem....Couple questions....
1) The Wheel speed sensor appears to have 3 connectors
- one is right at the wheel
- one is at the frame where the a-arms and suspension meet
- the last one appears to be upstream abit but I can find it.....
Where is this one located?
2) The Wheel speed sensor connects to the Electronic brake control module
Where is the brake control module located?

The first connector is from the sensor pigtail to the wiring harness. The next connector is a two pin connector it is located on the engine, above the lower control arm. The next connector is a 10-pin and is part of the Transmission harness to forward lamp harness, located at RH side rear of engine compartment, below the battery. The EBTCM is located at the Front LH side of the engine compartment, mounted on the frame rail. (If similar to my ’03, from the drive side, look at the front of the engine, under the generator, and you will see the EBTCM, and it has the brake lines coming into the top of the unit.)
Check the sensor to see if it is loose, or out of position. It has to be a fairly exact distance from the sensor ring. If you have an ohm meter, you can measure the resistance of the sensor by connecting the meter across the two wires going to the sensor. The resistance should be 850-1350ohms.

PS Just emailed you a copy of the diagnostic chart, if you are familiar with an ohm meter, you can trace the problem down with a little time. I'll try that email again. Mike, sorry, I emailed the document to you by mistake :lolg:
Lets say that the wire is broken somewhere in the loom, what would be the easiest way to fix it? Run a new set of wires from the ECU to the harness?

Before you get carried away,it is very common for the jumper harness to the front speed sensors to fail.Because the harness is mounted to the lower control arms,this harness gets an open circuit due to suspension travel over a period of time...The left and right harnesses are the same and can be swapped left to right for an easy diagnoses...If you swap them and the fault code moves from left sensor to right sensor,than you know it is a faulty jumper harness ;)

Ok now were getting somewhere.....I checked the wheel sensor and the harness and both are fine on both sides......
I found 2 harness's next to the battery, one had lime green tape while the other had dark green tape, these did seem to go with the schematic for colors and letters. Are these the connectors that go to the harness for the traction control unit?
