Fuel Switch for Door wont open
I have a dilemma, the fuel door wont open when the switch is pushed. I have to manually go and open on the rear hatch and pull the manual lever. I took it a few months ago to the dealer ship because of the steering column lock and asked to check it out as well. THey told me it was a small part that goes under the console but will be 89 to replace. Seeing the cost for that steering wheel lock over 300+ i didnot.
SO I ask for your help if anybody know the part number to this. It is not the switch but a part that goes connected to the lines in the switch.

Try disassembling the switch and blowing some compressed air to remove any dust or dirt that may have accumulated. Often, it's dust or dirt that shorts a switch.
