Oh, oh...re-ring

I've scheduled my '01 for a re-ring job. Any last minute advice from those that have had this done? Thanks.

Don't fret. You should be fine. Mine was the second one my dealership had done and they did a great job. The car came back in perfect condition. It didn't eliminate oil consumption, but pushed it to about a quart every 3500 miles. For me that's one quart between changes & I can live with that.

Don't worry about it, dealer did a great job on my 01....no more dirty exhaust tips and oil consumption dropped to almost nothing....

See if your dealer will put a cam in while he is in there, mine did!

Same on mine. Indeed, and dare I say it, but I don't recall any horror stories here on the forum for anyone who has had their rings changed. Good luck.
