when i go into reverse i hear a crackling noise from drivers rear wheel?

is this normal?

should i be worried?

but you could turn up the radio when you back up :yesnod:

Could be a parking brake sticking. I had a Jeep that did that regularly after I drove it in the rain and then let it sit for a while with the parking brake engaged.
