moore tool

im havin trouble gettin the spring keepers back in and i lost 3 of them already in the engine compartment somewhere :banghead: . any1 using the moore tool havin the same trouble? i get the keepers in but they arnt lockin. what a pain in the azz :(

Did you try putting a dab of grease on them before you put them on? This should hold them until you release tension on the spring.

grease them, then compress the spring, then place the spring keepers on the rod?
