Houston area vibration problem
I have noticed a somewhat harmonic vibration for quite some time. Not really much of a problem driving around the streets of Hst. Today my wife and I drove it to Austin and back and it is pretty anoying. I had a Z06 clutch put in about 9 months ago and that may be the problem or part of it. I bought it off a forum member..low milage..looked good..replaced my stock reg. C5 with 30K. Since then I have read about zero balancing the flywheel (which I did not) and also some posts that something like this might be a problem with a wheel (I have the magnesium GMs)..so I think I should have someone really good in Hst who knows clutches well and can also diagnose well. Any recomendations from you Houston guys? My car is a MN6, '00 C5..has had CNC heads and a comp cam since about 7K miles..runs great..but this vibration needs to go.
