Dual zone A/C

How hard is it to switch a car from the base A/C to the dual zone?

I have the dual zone in my 02, is the single that bad? :confused:

I am looking at one car that doesn't have it, and my G/F is allways cold and I am allways hot so I figured I would ask.

Not worth the money. You need a new harnes,s an out ide sensor, an inside sensor, the modual it's self, and then a trip to the dealer to tell the BCM that it now has that function. All you really get is outside air temp and a possible 4 degree temp adjustment. The passanger side vents will still be a problem.

Buy your BABE a fur coat that will keep her warm.. there are other
options to keep her warm ...... but the Forum is rated PG!! :seeya :seeya
P.s You can install almost anything if you have the time and $$$$$$$$$$.That HVAC system you are talking about.. too much hassle in my opinion!!! :iagree: :flag :flag

I'd shut the vents off on her side if she gets too cool. If the car is nice I wouldn't let that stop me. Good luck however you go!

I've had FRCs with both A/C systems and personally I prefer the base system over the dual-zone.

The base is simpler to operate with less things to go wrong.
