Cracking problems on 2001 forged Z06 wheels??
I had heard that GM went to the spun-cast wheels because there were some cracking problems on the forged 2001 wheels. Is this true?? I kinda figured they went to the cast wheels because they were cheaper. :skep:

They went to the cast wheel because it was cheaper, quicket to make and lighter. They couldn't keep up with demand if they kept the forged rim. Have not heard of any cracking problems with the rims.
