Default Do new clutches smell?
I just had a bunch of upgrades done (see signature) including a new Cartek clutch. After a good run, there is a burning smell that enters the cockpit. Could this be the new clutch bedding in, or do i have a problem. There's no issues under normal driving, just a spirited sprint :)

Any burning smell from a clutch is just that, the clutch burnning. Should be little or no smell new or old.

I'm starting to think it might be the new brakes. I have Wilwood slotted and drilled rotors with Z06 pads all.

That may smell a little for a few miles while seating in....but not for long.
