Need help with Dyno results
Had a dyno pull on a mobile chassis dyno on 02.01.03 w some intake mods pulled a 338 rwhp the lines on the graph were smooth. Installed breathless headers, off road X pipe and O2 simms. dyno pull at 368rwhp on a new chassis dyno that works off resistance on a motor (for lack of the exact name) the lines are smooth until 5450 rpm I get small spikes to 5650 and then smooths out, this was on 08.19.03. On 09.02.03 I had a predator dyno tune with about 12 pulls that morning, the best being 385rwhp. The graph on all pulls showed massive spikes at exactly the same rpm as before and continues to redline.
OK. My question is: Has anyone seen this before? The guys in the shop have no answer. I thought maybe a clutch slip so we did a pull in third gear and at exactly the same rpm it started to spike.
It look like a heart attack. Is it the car or the dyno Should I go back to the other dyno and try again. Car has 24000 miles
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

it could be KR, next time at the dyno go into the diagnostics of the Predator scroll all the way to the bottom and watch during the dyno pull to see if your getting KR if so knock the timing down a couple of degree's w/ the predator and see if that helps

I have similar spikes at the same RPM on my dyno pull. The only thing the guys in the shop could think of was weak valve springs, you could kinda hear it if you listen real close.
