Tried the search but I don't have an LT4.
So....this winter a new cam will be coming and I will probably run the stock LS1 heads as this seems to be the trend (big numbers w/ stock heads). Also, I want to run a mild shot of nitrous (100 shot). From what I understand, I need a wide lobe sep. angle (112-114) and higher liht/longer duration on the exhaust.
I have an M6 and probably won't change gears unless the clutch goes bye-bye soon. Maybe someone can just push me in the right direction. I would have posted in the "other" section, but there seems to be a better response over here. Thanks in advance. Chris
Come on guys........I know what's involved (all the parts, labor, yadda, yadda, yadda) I just need some recommendations or some real world experience w/ certain vendors. Thanks
Well you always want the exhaust # to be higher then the intake #. Like the cam I am getting from texas-speed.com. Specs on it are 231/237 .598/.595 112LSA
Hey Chris.. I am with you. I have heard that the G5X2 would be a good nitrous cam. Anybody out there with this cam and or H/C package with a dyno they can post? G5X2 spec's 232/240 595/608 112.
I have the G5X2 cam, but not running the juice. I asked Lou, and he said that the cam would be fantastic with nitrous applications.
This cam will work with stock heads. In fact, there are several members running this cam with their stock heads and some bolt-ons making some very impressive power :yesnod:
