Default anyone know this braking system ?

http://www.zmibrakes.com/home.html

With a rotor weight of only 4.8 and caliper weight of 5.8, this has to 1/2 the weight of any system available ?

Wonder if it is good ?

Those look very interesting. I sent them an email. I am curious how much more heat is put into the pad/caliper. Titanium rejects heat better than stainless.

They look very interesting but I wonder if for an extra $1000 you wouldn't just get the ceramic coated rotors being used in NASCAR.

Ceramic rotors does not transmit heat at all, titan does a better job, but not as good as a steel.
So you would need a large caliper to transfer heat away from ceramic rotors.

Titan rotors may have similar problems, would be nice to get reference
from the company that claims they have sold these sets for 8 years :-)

I was originally planning on Movit brake system, i have seen them in person and they are perfect, stop on a dime , every time, from any speed (i was a scared passenger in the owner ZR1 :-)
BUT Movit brakes are heavy and i would like to get rid of unsprung weight :-)
