Quest for 11's

Cooler weather willl help too.
Yes a cam will get you into the 11's (provided you have tires and maybe LT headers if you don't have them.)
Give Chris a call I am surehe can help you with the tuning

Englishtown is one of the worst tracks for traction, I wouldn't say that. With the same DA, I ran the same numbers at Beech Bend in Bowling Green KY. The location of the track has nothing to do with it unless it's at a high altitude, if your car is tuned correctly and you can drive it you'll run the number:cheers:
E-town is definitely not the best track for traction. Cecil in Maryland blows away E-town in track prep. Westhampton L.I.'s track prep is marginal too, but if you can hook, it's exactly sea level. :D
I just check the weather and at the last CC it was in the 600's ft D/A.
I will take 600ft D/A and a set of slicks, over 2500+ D/A and good track prep any day.
What time did you run your last pass? I used the numbers from http://www.wunderground.com
On all my runs this site has been very close within 50ft, of my portable weather station that I log all my runs with.
I won't argue D/A it is really simple. It has an effect on what you run.
BTW- Humidity does not effect D/A nearly as much as one would think. ;)
Example: Baro 30.05 Temp 62 Humidity 60% = 368 Ft
Example: Baro 30.05 Temp 62 Humidity 99% = 619 Ft
+39% Humidity change= 251 Ft Change
It is the Temp that affects D/A the most.
Example: Baro 30.05 Temp 85 Humidity 60% = 2282 Ft
Example: Baro 30.05 Temp 55 Humidity 60% = -180 Ft
30 degree change = 2462 Ft change
To sum it up I say bring on the cool air... :seeya

I agree, nothing magical about E-town unless you are talking weather and actual altitude which I think is about 100'. However Artie, you cannot compare E-town Saturday's to E-Town Sundays. Meet me on Sunday and you will see.
Roger, not sure where you saw the 600' but different weather machines will read different DA's. I have seen this even with same brand machines. Mine was reading about 1800 feet before it broke so I am not sure how low it got at night but don't think it was as low as 600'.
