Hey Kumar you know I don't have a heads/cam car just a cam but the TR6's are a good nitrous plug because they are a colder plug the TR55's I would think in my experience are a better non/nitrous or FI plug because they burn hotter. Just my $.02
I'm running TR 6 plugs in a stock LS1 with bolt ons and they work fine. Checked them when the lgm headers were installed, they looked great. Ron B. :seeya
Here's what I've learned
TR55- NA-stock, H&C, bolt-ons etc.
TR6-Nitrous, FI, High Compression NA
FWIW -My CR is in the Neighborhood of 11.5:1. Running TR6s and they've held up very well. I've insulted the hell out of them with 10-11 AFR idles numerous times- Burnt up the High Flow cats but the TR6s are fine!

You won't have any trouble with them. It is just that the TR6's are a colder plug and the TR55s you will get a hotter spark which equates to better power. You run the TR6s in nitrous or FI cars because they are colder.
I have used the TR6's for a while now and havent had any trouble out of them.
I uesd to use TR55s and TR6s in my blower car, but found nothing but misfires from them in the Z with the cam. I actually just switched back to Delco plugs today and the misfires went away.
One side note, the 03 called for 41-974s which are platinum. The dealer that I got mine from said that his book lists them as changing for 04 to 41-985s which are iridium and are what should replace the 974s. In any event, I put them in and the misfires went away.
And yes I know about how the little ends need to be tightened on the NGKs, I learned that years ago, the hard way. No, this was about 10-12 per second per cylinder on average and would set of a P0300 code.
I was just wondering if there was any power going from 6s to 55s. I like to play it safe and stay with the TR6 and 11:1 compression but just wondering.
TR6s are a colder plug, I wouldnt see any benefit of going to the 5 series which is the next heat range hotter if you have no problems fouling your 6s.
I use the TR55's with 11.25 CR..Their OK but some detonation in hot weather..maybe the TR6 is the way to go..
The problem may be too hot a plug or possibly too much timing for the temp. I'd pull a plug or two and check the color. If they have a white blistered appearance then you need a colder plug. If they have a light tan/brown color they are just right.

**** Finger - What's up with the little ends? I don't know about this.TIA.
I never thought NGK would be put in anything besides my lawnmower but I added TR-6's about 6 months after I installed the blower and can definitely tell the car runs better, it's slightly hard starting (engine takes 1/2 second longer to fire off) but runs great.
