I'm going to replace the shocks and wondering should I go with Koni or the Bilstein. Also, who sells the stock Z51 sway bars? My 01 did not come with the Z51 option so........ while I'm replacing the shifter might as well bring the suspension up to Z51 spec. I know the Z51 has different spings but I just want to do the shocks and sways. Thanks for the input. :chevy

Re: Replacing Shocks........Koni or Bilstien (Tsab)
I had good luck with my Bilsteins for 50,000 miles and recently had the revalved/rebuild for road racing and they work great. I think the Koni's are more. Depends on what you want the car to do.

The Konis are the best handling shock on the C5/Z06 IMHO.I run them with T-1 sway bars on my Z06 TT and I take turns so much faster than the shop Z06 its night and day. They say you get what you pay for in this case its 101% true,Dave Smilovic.480-517-4969 Ask for Mike he's our engineer who works race team support for us and alot of it is suspension and aside from 2500.00+ Penske's Konis are tops,Dave
