Default Going for the headers!

Forgive me for beating this question into the ground. Finally gave into the need for speed syndrome. So, what's your pick? Borla's- LG headers, FLP or TPIS?
I'll be doing this setup with mod-cats. Keep hearing great things about LG's and FLP's. I don't want to have access problems getting to things like spark plugs or other parts. What say you?

Most of all, thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm very happy with FLP's into Borla Stingers. The sound alone was worth it.

Gotta say I love my Breathless step headers....nice piece...removeable collector for easier access to the bellhousing (although only takes an extra hour labor to remove not that big a deal)...no leaks no probs no worries...sound great with the XR1 catback
Whatever you pick...good luck.

LG Long-Tubes rock. The sound is awesome and picked up 22 RWHP.

I have TPIS, but if I had to do it again I'd do LG's.

I would recommend LGs, FLPs or Stainless Works. LG's if you want the ultimate true long tube header. FLP for a bolt up system or SW for the best bang for the buck. All offer good power gains and are made very well. You should not have any problems with any of these. Installation is straight forward as well.

Blackwing, TPIS LT, Random Tech midsection, Corsa Touring and LS1 edit/dyno tune= max power 338, max torque 347.1. Just dyno'd today. Waiting for my 165* thermostat to bump timing another 4* good for another 4hps.

My choice is LGM Pro LT headers. I previously had the FLP's and LGM's definately provide more power on the low end :smash: :smash:

I have Belanger headers on my car. I got a great deal on them so I bought them when I decided to do my heads and cam. They fit great and I love the sound that I got after the header instal. Kaley

I just installed FLP's set up mated to my Corsa Indy's. Talk about an attention getter, this set up rocks.

Good luck

You'll get a million opinions. I have TPIS headers and very very happy with them. IMO they are the best bang for the buck header out there.

I know many people using them withe great success and in fact they are being used in several 9 and 8 second LS1's......I think that says something :) ;)

Also, if you look at the Stainless Works headers you will see a wee bit of similarity with the TPIS design :D ;) The primary is a different size but other than that...........................
