Does are car come already plumbed for tranny cooler lines. Also is the radiator plumbed to. When I get my stall installed, I want to put a transmisson cooler on also.
Yep your auto has a cooler in the radiator already. Are you installing a higher stall torque converter?
If so, IMO (and I have already done this on an auto) if you are going with a say Yank 3000, I would install it and simply use the stock tranny cooler in the radiator and watch the temps. Most likely you will be OK with the stock cooler alone with a Yank 3000. The Yanks are VERY efficient.....I DID NOT need an additional cooler with my Yank 3000 as the temps were perfect. When I installed the stroker and the SY3500, I installed an additional B&M 24,000GVW unit which supplemented the stock cooler in the rad. In the Summer the temps are perfect but I do believe in the Fall and Winter it will keep the temps too cool!!!!!! I upgraded to a BeCool high capacity rad so that is defintely helping keep it cooler.
Keep in mind running too cool IS NOT a good thing that's why I say install the torque converter and see what your temps are at...if they are too high then simply add the additional tranny cooler. Very easy! If you run too cool you will have torque converter lock-up issues for sure which is not good and can prematurely trash your tranny!
