Hello, I just bought my dream car 5 months ago, it's a 1998 black C-5 coupe with what I'm told a rare deep red interior called ox blood (code 943).
I started adding accents within the first week! :hurray: I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how. Some accents so far include, on the outside, custom vinyl graphics (hood and sides), chrome rims, export amber side markers, black tail light grills, mirror with emblem between the exaust pipes and dark tint on the windows. On the inside foot plate covers, vette floor mats front and back, and the emblem bettween the seats on the console. As far as tech/performance, a red top, and a blackwing. We also took out the that foil screen when we installed the blackwing. Next projects include, something clever on the fuel rail covers and shroud, again something clever on the hood liner, and painting the cliapers. Thanks for all your help Frank  I found out about this site when I took the vette to the scottsdale pavilions, hello guys! It was my first time with the vette and it was a blast. I'm in the process of joining Sun Country vette club. By the way I'm saving the wave here in AZ. (Is that better cajun75!)
congrats and welcome aboard buddy! if you check this section and can't find your thread, take a look in c5 general because it'll probably be moved. no biggie. :seeya
I've owned my '00 Torch Red Hardtop for 6 months, and remember the wonderful feeling of buying the Vette. I own/have owned other performance cars, but really enjoy the sense of community that seems to exist on this forum. You'll learn a lot in a short period of time, as there are many vette-vets who exist here.
