Steering Rack????
Took my C-5 to the dealer to get it checked, they told me I have a bad steering rack, the car is under warranty so thats no problem. The question is I cannot find the "steering rack" in any publication. :confused:

Exactly what are you looking for - where the rack is in relation to the engine? It's just in front of the crank pulley in the bottom front of the engine. :confused:

With the edit, the post makes sense. The rack runs from wheel to wheel (transverse) about four inches in front of the carnk pulley/balancer and is mounted to the frame.
