I ran this time Sat night at the vette shootout at Hallsville. The event was great and I had a damn good time. The car ran 118-119mph on all of my passes! I was pumped. All runs were on 18 inch supercar tires.
Cam is a 220/220 581/.581 114 LSA from Texas Speed (they won the event!)
NO headers, NO LS6 intake, STOCK cats, NO heads.
363rwhp
Dang that's great!!! 60 odd horsepower gain from cam only? WOW! That's one potent camshaft.
You get some traction and the 11's are yours easy. 119MPH is very strong indeed.
Awesome ET's,man! That is haulin' for so little mods!
Now tell me more about this cam and how much was parts/install. Did you install the cam only without other parts?Any tuning? I might consider this on my 98 A4 coupe.

PS-Oh, now i see you a hardtop so i guess i just answered my question and my gut instinct was right on!
Re: Track results from sleeper cam (MTI 427 Roadster)
Yes the car is a MN6 hardtop. The cam with install and full LS1 edit dyno tune from Texas Speed was under $1600. The cam is great, you can barely notice it even has a cam. Shifts are at 6,800 rpm.
I noticed that your car was pulling hard on the big end. What gears are you running in it .
