Gear Select/Skip Shift Solenoid............?
I am wondering if this solenoid provides any other function to the manual transmission other than the darn "skip shift" feature on the manuals (CAGS I assume it is).
If this feature is deleted via tuning or through hardware modification such as the CAGS eliminator.........is this solenoid even needed? I know there is an electrical connection to this solenoid and I was wondering if the function is deleted.....is it still needed?

Hmmm.....don't know buddy. I put the Cags eliminator on my uncle's C5 and my C4 and we are very glad I did. BTW.....I have a present for you. :yesnod: :cheers:
